So, fellow arts fans, i've been in here for a few weeks now, my back hurts cause it's a bit crampy, but the people are nice. Just want to wish everyone a peaceful long weekend.

Saw Yo La Tengo the other night, was a great show. Portastatic opened, their new album is really good. Everyone should buy it.

I'm going paddling for three days, run some rapids, chill with some good friends, and decide what i want to do with my life. I work for my dad, have for years, have a serious role, should be taking over in the next five years, but I think i'm going to leave. Might start my own record store. Pretty scared. But we all need to be happy right?

Is the war still on?

nothin at all. it blew hard. You whole idea for the store sounds good. but the whole music selling business is rough right now, If you don't have a really good location you won't get people coming in for Coffee and live music and if people aren't coming in for that then they'll just go to HMV for cds. Unless you only sold vynal. Call it 'Jonas's Vynal 'n' stuff' you can sell old records, siding and pleather all in one place.

Vinyl/DVD/CD/and Videos, plus coffee shop, in-store sessions, and, this would be killer, but i'm bullshitting, 1-hour photo. Starting work on my business plan. Seems weird to be transferring from working at big business with billionaire customers to starting from scratch all over..... Pretty scary but whatever, i have to do it. Plus my mom's addicted to these angel card things where you pull cards and they predict your future. Sort of like tarot cards. And mine says i need more freedom in my life, and also to look for signs...

and the sign reads, long haired freaky people, need not apply......
