It's still pretty quiet at the moment, but starting to fill up with everyone coming for the winter, then there's always stuff going on. There's some cool bars with live music/dj's pretty much every night and there's a local brewery with some awesome beers. needs to hurry up and start snowing though.

yeah for sure i don't really have anything bad to say about fernie. i haven't really skied may other resorts over here though so i can't compare. i want to check out red, nelson, kicking horse and revelstoke before the season ends.

was -25 today though but set to warm up a little the next few days.pretty good base at the moment but another half a meter of snow would cover everything

So I went up yesterday and today and its pretty hard and wind swept. pockets of good snow but no need for a 120 underfoot ski. I've skied my ANTs and bacons and they handle everything with no problems.
depending on what weather site you look on we might get a bit of snow tonight and tomorrow but nothing crazy.

So I ended up going yesterday and it was probably some of the worst snow I've skied. Granted things softened up a bunch in the afternoon, it was warm, not windy and the hill was empty, and we still had a good time, but my goodness the snow was bad. Hopefully you guys get some new stuff soon!
