Myself and the crew are planning a trip....I've read the other reviews but need updated advice and best time to go...thinking late January right now....
It probally doesn't really matter when you come, your pretty much guessing, it might either be raining when you come, really lots of snow and snowing or nice and sunny. The park a dark is usually a blast though when its sunny.
come late Feb or early March. If it rains in Fernie then you can hit Kicking Horse where it will be dumping snow. Kicking horse should have a good base by this time of year and is a good backup.
it really doesn't matter what month really...its mainly season...and if ur lucky and come on a foggy day thats that sickest part of fernie..cause beginners are scared
Fernie is dope , Good skiing not bad park, And awesome powder and some of the best tree skiing on the planet, jsut take a girl with you there are none in fernie to speak off..
Ya Late January Or early febuary is the best, march is really fun too because the headwall is usually open and is always sunny and soft. The park here is good all year , it usually gets open in like christmas time.
