Fernie just got a 75 cm dump ( thats 2 and a half feet) Only problem is it knocked out the power to half the ski hill, only two lifts running, But that just saves the best for later this week

last weekend they blew a transformer that knocked out all but the timber and white pass chairs...they had it fixed, but then this storm knocked a pile of trees on to the power lines and knocked the power out again. Now there's only the timber, white pass and deer chair running...so there's a 45min line up. Apparently it's still fucked up today, which sucks because it's the start of my days off.
Anyways...that powder is pretty much obscene up there....so it's hard to complain.

hasn't snowed in about a week....most places are tracked but still soft. Park is aright...the wall ride is pretty sick.
