Fernie bc living

Does anyone on here live in or have been to fernie bc. Do you know what its like and do you think it would be a good place to move to

 
from what i've heard, i believe itd be a sick place to live. if all goes well i should be headin out there this winter

 
I skiedking horse last season it was alright not the greatest. It doesnt seem like they get alot of snow there. not enough kids building jumps either

 
my parents have a condo in fernie, its a great place. nice town, and not really touristy (hopefully it'll stay that way). I love it up there.

good, the park isn't anything special, but the terrain makes up for it. on pow days its absolutely sick, but the lift lines can get really crowded, especially around the bottom of the hill, but I usually stay up top so it's not too bad.

sorry I wouldn't know, i haven't had a chance to go sledding yet. I'd go around to some of the local shops and ask around, they might be able to help you out.

ya I ski there the most out of any hill. it takes about 3 hours to get down there from where I live, but I'm up there on holidays, long weekends, and the occasional normal weekends if I don't have a lot of work to do.

oh ya, there's quite a few within an hours drive, I just love fernie so I try to get down there as much as possible, whenever I can't I go to one of the other ones.

i live in kiberley, and our ski hill isnt as good as fernie, but we have a better park, fernie is sooo sick for cliffs and pow.

Shes gonna make coats out of us!
 
Fernie is sick. They get a shat load of snow and they have dope terrain. I have a buddy who lives there and he loves it to the max

 
sounds like an awsome place to live...thats why im moving there...revelstoke is pretty nice too we just got a shit load of snow and ive been sledding since september

 
never been to revy, but i want to try it out this season. do you know when it's supposed to open this year? or is it open already?

yah fernie is the bestest place in the rockies for sure, and for the guy who said kimberlys park is better.. are you kidding me??? everything is so small and very poorly maintained, your big table was all of 30ft and you had to giver from the middle of your pipe to make the landing.

Fernie is radical, I live there for half of the time. And the other half in Calgary, it is a bit of a drive, but it gets shorter everytime. I thought Fernies park sick, It wasnt really comparable to Louise's park, but it was really good, just needed more rails. But if your going to Fernie to ski only, than dont even bother witht the park, its usually has the best snow in the Rockies ( i think).

do the chickens have large talons?
