What gives you any more right to comment on poverty stricken communities than him, let alone insult him for looking at things through a perspective other than his own? Are you an expert in 'the slums of America'? Do you live in systemic poverty? Do you know anyone who does?

No expert, but I grew up right next to it and spent a lot of my life experiencing it from time to time since it was right in my backyard.

^^^^ spray painted on the convenience store that michael brown robbed before his death. oh, after "protesters" burned it down, of course.

filthy. fucking. animals.

I think he'll get off. It's hard to know all the facts. Based on what I've read I think he should be charged and if he's innocent he should be acquitted in a trial. I think the evidence indicates probable cause of wrongdoing.

eh.. maybe locally. But the hype has died down considerably. People who are outraged will be venting on FB or Twitter.

Nothing but media hype.

As far as I have been able to gather from eyewitness reports, Brown was being placed in the police vehicle when he escaped. As he was running away the copsoul opened fire and one bullet grazed him. Then he turned around, put his hands up, and took several more rounds, two in the face and others after he was already down. He was unarmed.

Right now it is sounding like the copsoul will be acquitted due to some possible danger present to him during the time. As far as I can tell however, he's a fucking murderer, and should be treated as such. And his badge does nothing to tell me otherwise.

Am I missing something here?

Whats amazing about this whole situation is that news media can talk about NOTHING for hours in anticipation of a jury decision that will entice riots reguardless of the result.

CNN is saying no indictment. Apparently because "someone close to Wilson" is saying that he would have been asked to turn himself in.

I asked if I was wrong. If what happened differs from what I gathered, please let me know. I'm basing my judgment off of that information, and if it's wrong I'll change my judgment. If that's what happened though, he's a murderer. Downvotes aren't refutations.

That crowd just keeps getting bigger and bigger.

Have they mentioned anything about the other 83 cities that were included in the target cities?

dont quote me on this, but the autopsy showed he had a close range gunshot wound on his hand, which corroborates with wilsons story a lot more than the witness'. His story being that that brown tried to wrestle away wilsons gun from him. There was also blood on the gun, wilsons uniform and in the vehicle, which also supports his story. So if he is telling the truth about that part and the witnesses are lying about it, to me you have to trust his story for the second part that brown ran away initially then started to charge back towards the officer, rather than the witness stories saying brown had his hands up in the air when he was shot.

I dont think we have all of the evidence presented or the full autopsy report either though so its tough to say.

Yeah, it seems every report I read says something slightly different happened, so it's really hard to know what actually took place. Not gonna judge this one until I learn more.

Ah, thank you. Prior statements revoked.

Dont rob a store.

Dont challenge a cop while hes in his car

Dont run from a cop after he shoots you

Dont charge a cop after he shoots you

my recipe for not getting shot by cops and it works for all races

But like i said, thats what i have gathered from what has been given in the couple articles i read. I dont think we know everything pertaining to the case yet, so I could end up being completely wrong. Thats just my interpretation

We get all our information second or third hand. And Like they said, not everything is going to be released from the case because not everything can be released. The only people who can make a halfway conclusion is those who were presented with the evidence. Which the general public was not, for good reason.

unarmed black teen shot by cop, media frenzy. Millions die from war and genocide on foreign soil each day, well were is the fukin fun in reporting on that. Not trying to make a point, I just think its interesting.

A lot of people seem to agree, and I honestly don't understand why that is. Unless I'm missing something, it seems to me the right decision was made

You're kidding me... right?

You'd rather an innocent man be charged for crimes he didn't commit?

Either way that just means I shouldn't be making a judgment. Leave it to those with the best information.

If you don't think the right decision was made here, then you are a complete idiot. This 6'4", 300 lb man got into a threatening altercation with a police officer and the cop was defending himself. Not that hard to see.

Also, people were running because there were shots fired after the No Indictment verdict was read.

Millions die each day? Bullshit. So that means 365-400 million people are killed each year? More than 7% of earth?

What really grinds my gears is how Obama is clearly siding with Brown.

Why not act like the President of the United States for once, and stick up for the American justice system and it's decisions? Pathetic.

honestly, this case was over before it started. There was basically one complete side of the story from the officer himself, and then a plethora of 'eyewitness' reports from people claiming to have seen it and all this bullshit. I'm not so sure don't shoot were the words that came out of Mike Browns mouth throughout the incident BUT as the ards played out he was unarmed.

The evidence provided by the prosecution (which i feel was really fighting for darren wilson) was minimal and slightly unreliable. Unless there was concrete evidence or even evidence with a few holes in favor of mike brown my post would be different.

I do think that the fact that there was 12 shots fired (2 in to a car, 10 into the victim) seemed slightly excessive to say the least.

and honestly either way the cookie crumbled someone would be hurt and in this case it was the majority.

and no my name has nothing to do with anything that actually occured in Ferguson, MO it is pure coincidence.

Would you make that statement if he said the exact same thing but was white? Probably not.

Uh, yes I would. Nice try at pulling the race card though.

The President of the U.S. is the President of the U.S., regardless of race, and I would expect whoever is in that position to stick up for the justice system.
