Nice. Good to see these guys move to top tier and progressive ski brands. Recently spotted Colby Stevenson on Tyrolia attacks too.

I doubt Ferdi will use Vishnu’s in competition but cool nonetheless

Colby Stevenson has been using Tyrolia attacks for a while now retard.

I don't think Ferdi is doing those comps any more, just jib league which is sick. It was strongly hinted at on TwoPlanker podcast as the other guy said above.

Ferdi got dropped by K2 because of the fact that he stopped competing and shifting most of his focus to furthering Jib League.

feel like that wouldnt really make much sense, still has a massive following and a lot of traction as a skier, prolly just wants to change it up

Are you talking about the binding release itself or the toe piece getting completely ripped off of your ski, thus forcing you to release? Tyrolia’s are fucking bombproof compared to Markers at a lower cost and are slightly lighter in terms of weight. If I wanted to spend $300+ on a set of new bindings I’d save some more and go for pivots instead.

I respect the decision for sure. The competition as a whole is really great for skiers that want to get their name out there in the scene and not for the same robotic-ass double cork 14 that everyone does in comps now. I just really hope they develop a plan to host more Jib League events in North America as well as they do in Europe.
 
i just watched a redbull skate thing about core vs comp. the division there seems to be a bit more drastic than skiing but im sure thats due to access. but sounds like ferdi went core lol. i mean he did do slvsh at x games right??

I feel like slvsh doesn’t necessarily count as comp skiing since it came to be from content creation / filming. Like it was a little game style edit before it was what it is now. Still kinda that lol.

he left because k2 didn’t give him a better offer, that’s why he spray painted his skis early this season
