So, when waxed beyond smooth, when one already went down whilst you where on top of the slope, when only one is left after a crash, or even worst, when grown out of style! What than to do with skis?

Construct them into a fence!

i am surprise this is the first post about the fence, that shit is legendary.

a skiing site where the ski fence is not common knowledge. lol.

They had theses all over the place at stowe
and they don't poke you because the back is really long
Like it starts to curve a bit above most peoples heads

Bed frame your skis!

Now that would be pretty epic. Railin a beezy with her head bumpin into last years park skis that rode rails all year, legendary.

Only way it could be better is if X-zibit pops in and says "yo dawg, I heard you like rails"

i made a headboard out of snowboards that i broke. the best part is that one of them is the CAPiTA stairmaster extreme '09, the graphic featuring a topless model jumping on a bed.

in my town theres probably 6 ski fences and some furniture here and there skis are surprisingly comfy

there are so many of those fences in park city there so sick
anyway, i was thinking of making one of those chairs does anyone have plans as how to make them?

all of these look fruity as hell and tacky. still an awesome idea if you can make it
look good

The reason those all look a little too bright/rainbow is because they're old skis. If you used some newer skis (obviously with the exception of some, there are still colorful skis) you would get something that might look a bit better.

This was the work of one of my roommates. He also made a few park benches where the bottom and back where all skis.

back at my old gymnastics gym we had a ski floor for tumbling training.

I don't have a picture, but pretty much we took old skis (had to be straight and longer than 190cm) cut off the tips and tails, nailed them into side rails, put plywood and cheering floor on top. it made learning new tricks so easy. It was such a good transition from learning things on a tumble track before bringing it to the spring floor.
