Female superunknown?

such a sick idea!!!

there would have to be some way to show ur a girl (wink wink) in the vids cause guys could just put on a pink coat and destroy

good idea, the only problem i for see is with the amount of footy. I mean who is going to film all these girls doing 360's and 540's when they could be throwing down themselves? My prediction is that each girl would have like 5 skiing shots and then just a bunch of myspace kissy faces and boob shots to gain extra points with the judges.

...not that thats a bad thing

Dude, be real for a second.

Ladies skiing is progressing, and there is no question that they are having fun and putting together decent segments. However, the only woman out there that really gives the boys a run for their money is Ingrid.

When you have segments the quality of Brogan's, Martini's, etc. in the Superunknown, the bar is set extremely high, and girls skiing just isn't there yet. If you want girls to have a fair shot at the competition, I think their own division should be created.

I can see your side of the argument too, though. And if it were created, and a girl won with a bunch of 3's and a box or two, I would wonder why.

this is the what ive been trying to say, we cant put them together so have two. also there would obviously be way less female entries so it might have to be judged differently

protip: whether it's skateboarding, snowboarding or skiing girls have never done anything worth watching in a film

I beg to differ. 90% of the stuff that Ingrid shreds in Push (the last MSP movie I have seen) would send almost all of you who are hating on woman's skiing home to your mommas.

Yeah, Ash has a couple super sick rail shots in Enjoy.  Rachael Burkes does some huge backflips off cliffs in the Levitation Project thing.  The only problem with girls' parts is they are all like 5 shots long.  I'm not sure if these companies are only filming with the girls for like, a weekend, or if they are only doing 5 good tricks all season.  But I think they might just not bring the girls along on a lot of their trips.

gonna have to disagree here. I don't think I've ever skied a day where I saw more than 2-3 girls (that's pushing it) actually trying something in the park. seeing a girl skiing in the park isn't even a daily thing. it's not like you go to whistler and see unsponsored girls hucking themselves off cliffs and sending it in the park....at all.
