In skiing, snowboarding, skating, and all sports of this variety, the general trend is to count the TOTAL degree of rotation, not just the horizontal. It makes it way easier to keep track of rotations once you get into all the different kinds of off-axis rotation. All tricks are named by:
A.) Whether you did the trick switch/forward and whether you spun left or right (generally only used in comps, can also be called natural or unnatural)
B.) whether it was a single(no need to designate), double or triple flip
C.) the axis of rotation: rodeo, flat, cork, bio, misty, "d-spin"
D.) the total degree of rotation in the trick
E.) what grab you did in the trick
Ex: Left Rodeo 7 Japan
Ex: Unnatural Cork 9 Lead mute
Ex: Switch Left-side Dub misty 12 mute
