Female skiers posing

its great. it adds a whole new area of recruiting people to skiing. plus you could see nip in one of sarah burkes pics in fhm.

if she wants to and feels comfortable she can. I can see how some would think that you can do that and be a role model though

if she is over 21 - then yes, smokin hot! and what, she skis???? holy crap, I wanna see a girl who looks like that ski! Wooot! whats her name?

actually i think her face is a bit ugly in this one, a bit too masculine for me. no offence. id give just the face a 6.5/10.

anyone see the thing on sportscenter with heather mitts (softball), and amanda Beard? (swimming). they did a whole like 10 min special on women atheletes posing.....

The sooner we stop looking at female pros as just pieces of ass, the sooner women can gain equality in a sport that is still very lopsided (no Female slope in the X Games). I really like what Ingrid Backstrom has done, as she rips as hard as the boys and hasn't stooped to showing flesh to stay relevant.

so you want all women to cut off their hair and wear baggy clothes so they look like any other short person in the park? there's a happy medium between the two extremes of this.

I feel like its a great thing. Because of them, our sport can become better. Plus girls want to be hoes on the inside.

yeah dude. in ski movies with the brunette hair, she looks hot as hell. for some reason these photos dont do it for me.

yeah but if you all were told by a bunch of chicks that u needed to get naked to progress the sport you wouldnt be all over it. i dont think its the state of only skiing but female athletes in general. people know people like maria sharapova or danica patrick not because of what theyve doen in the sports of tennis and racing respectively but because theyre hot. and then you have people like anna kournikova, who was an awful tennis player yet her hotness got her on to the scene. not saying that girls dont rip, but i feel like alot of girls on teams today are put on because they look good in a swimsuit not look steezy on a rail. this isnt the fault of only the skiing community but is the mindset of a masculine society.

i like it, and its up to the female athlete if she wants to do that kind of thing, and everyone that complains about that shit can fuck off

Maybe if the were even borderline competitive they would be able to have their own legitimate competition. There are many unsponsored 12 year olds that would dominate the top girls in competition.

People frequently say that. They feel it is degrading for women to use their bodies as a marketing tool. whatever.... Respect doesn't pay the bills nor does it sell many tickets. Look at Bode, lots of people hate that guy but love to watch him ski. A talented skiing female who poses is going to be extremely more marketable. It's up to the individual. I respect Grete in her choice not to pose, but don't respect when she chastises others for posing. To each thier own.
