I am just curious as to how many people can still even load it on their computer. I have cable so its no problem but my friend has dial-up and his won't even load it.

ohmigoodness, it takes FOREVER through dial up. the responses and conversations can be so amusing though, it's worth the wait. i just do other stuff while i'm waiting, like check out freeze...hmm...good idea...

 
i have dsl, and i barely takes as min. to download that

When someone annoys you it takes 42 muscles in your face to frown BUT, it only takes 4 muscles to extend your arm and bitch-slap them upside the head....~
 
It's the slowest loading page i have ever tryed to view on DSL. Sure, it still only takes like 30 seconds, but it's a lonngggg agonizing 30 seconds!

Damn you dsl people... I wish my girlfriend had some 'Dick Suckin Lips'. Lol sorry had to get my dsl joke in there.

On 56k it takes me about 15 min. to load the page.

It takes like 15seconds for me because I have cable. I also have an extremely shitty computer though so its still not as fast as I could load it. Is it gonna load faster after the re-code?

it takes me 16 seconds, but about a minute to fully load cause some of the pictures are slow

 
dude.. it took me 5 minutes to load this page. I don't even try with the other one any more.

Well, it won't load THAT much faster after the re-code.. well, it will.. hmm..

k, one of the reasons it takes so long is because the script has to open 1000+ files and parse them.. after the re-code, it won't have to do anywhere near that.. so yes, it will be faster.

The problem is though that you still have to download everything, and on dial-up, that could take a while.. I'm contemplating splitting up large posts into more than one page...

I think splitting up large threads into multiple pages is not that good of an idea. Although that is just my opinion. Harvey can do no wrong:)

i have cable and right now we connect to a cable that services my town and the country where all the farmers dont have computers so its going un godly fast right now
