Feels like January without the snow in Revelstoke.

The jet stream was sitting in northern BC for the end of October giving us unseasonably warm weather with freezing levels upwards of 3000m; then the jet stream moved south into Washington over the course of 1 day. Leaving mountains south, west and east of us with a good dump of snow while just a dusting and high arctic outflow winds for us here. Now it feels like January and the 7 day forecast and beyond shows a trend similar to much of last winter. High pressure ridge in central and north BC, jet stream in Washington, Oregon and northern Cali. Generally this leaves Revelstoke more like Lake Louise, cold and dry with most systems moving south of us through the Okanagan and Kootenays. Hopefully we get into more of a classic November. November often brings heavy rains to Revelstoke in town and heavy snow for the mountains; right now all I see is over the next 2 weeks is flurries, sun and well below average temps. Not great for our base!

Shitty to hear. Hoping some dumps come your way! Calgary has been dumped on and the local hill is opening next Saturday, last season we didn't have a single speck of snow until Nov 25 let alone enough to open. We got crazy luck
