Basic specs:

2.16 Intel Core 2 Duo chipset

2GB RAM

160GB hard drive (brand new, just replaced less than 2 weeks ago under warranty)

Applecare extended coverage for 2 more years

Basically I'm considering upgrading to a MBP, and want to see what this one would fetch before I go and do it, cause I'm not exactly independently wealthy.

It's in great shape, only used to write papers for school and surf the net, HDD is nearly empty as it's just be replaced and formatted.

Also have and incase neoprene sleeve, marware protection pack, mini-dvi to VGA adapter for giving presentations on a projector, and maybe other stuff too.

Cost me about $1700 originally if I remember right.

Make offers?

You might be able to fetch $800-$900 for it. I have nearly the same computer, but with 4gb of ram and it is black and i just got $900. Lots of people were interested in it though that didn't get a chance to buy it, so you shouldn't have a problem.

I'm honestly looking for more than $900, it's still got 2 years of warranty left, brand new HD, brand new top casing, brand new charger, mini-dvi to vga adapter, apple remote...pretty sure I have an airline adapter too.

I can pre-install (on a fresh OS, of course) CS3 design premium, Microsoft Office, Toast 8 Titanium , Corel Painter X, and I'm pretty sure I have a remix tools disc for garageband that I could throw into the sounds library as well.

...Offers?

Sick skis and bindings, but I'm totally set with my ON3Ps for this year, otherwise I'd be willing to talk. Anyone else?

Well my digital camera is dead and I have to charger at the moment, so the best I could do is to take a couple on the iMac upstairs...

this computer is def worth more than 900, but i dobut kids on ns will pay more. you could also try and trade it in at an apple store and get money off your mbp?

New from Apple.com, with my accessories (not including any cases or software I'm willing to install) like the remote and the Mini-DVI to VGA adapter, it's about $1650, now granted you get one less year of warranty with this one, I'm still thinking it's worth more than $900.
