i'm thinking about getting a new macbook for the speed, hard drive space, and all that shit. i would need to sell this in order to get the macbook so this thread is just to see what i could get for it. this is a first gen macbook pro, 15", in the early days of intel. specs:
-15.4 inch display-mac osx leopard version 10.5.5-backlit keyboard-1gb ram-2 ghz intel core duo processor-bluetooth-super drive- burns dvd's-battery is only a few months old, i got it replaced along with the power cord-brand new logic board-applecare protection plancomes with the original startup disks and all the shit it came with although they are for 10.4 tiger
now, the problems. this computer has been used heavily for like 4 years but i take very good care of my computers. naturally it has a few dings and scrapes but nothing bad or really noticeable. but it is certainly a little quirky, sometimes it does weird shit but pretty rarely. the biggest problem is that when you stress the computer it makes a loud whirring/buzzing noise. i had the logic board replaced because they thought that was the problem but it wasn't so they didn't know what to do. it gets annoying but you get used to it. also, one of the hooks to close it came off, it still closes but sometimes pops openthis computer works great for internet and word processing and shit and would be a great backup computer, it just doesn't like to be stressed
offer what you would pay, i'm looking for a few hundred bucks, nothing too low but nothing too high. pm me or post here with additional questions
