who would be interested in Tall ts with characters like bert and ernie, elmo, the cookie monster, and the like on them?

sizes would most likely be 4xl-2xl/xl

also, what material would you like the t's to be in?

 
I would definitely buy a cookie monster one. But there will probably be licensing issues and shit.
 
This. I'm pretty sure that The Jim Henson Company owns the rights to all the characters on Sesame Street.
 
i got a xl tee with the cookie monster on it and it says cookies rule everything around me! if you had oscar the grouch and it said i hate everyone i would hella be into that

of course actual t-shirts would be much better quality and taller, these are just to give you an idea of what I was thinking

 
how would you guys feel about iron-ons? it would keep costs down, as custom screen prints for my designs run at around 35 dollars.
 
i was thinking 15-20 dollars for one, depending entirely on whether i can find a way to sell them while avoiding trademark. for that reason if i do end up selling them they may not be exact replicas of whichever characters they are implying. for example cookie monsters mouth may not have the lines going outward from the corners, but he will still definitely look like cookie monster.

damn the trademarks.
 
Enjoy your cease and desist letter. This would only work if you were selling them off a trailer in SE Asia.
 
first test tee probably off the press by the end of next week, I will update this thread with pricing and info as we go along.
 
those are sick. i can't imagine you would get into to much trouble for licensing, i don't think sesame street would be coming after you for making a few t shirts. but i hope you actually go through with this, theres always threads, where people talk about making sick shirts, and show crazy designs, then the threads die and nothing comes of it. i hope you go through with it.

We could possibly work something out.I could screen print solid colors at the moment, so you send me designs, I make screen, you send tees, I print on them, send them back, ?????????, profit.
