I just acquired a brand new pair of fks 120's. Im not sure if i want to keep them or not, i might want a higher din binding. I just wanna see what i could get for them. I dont have a camera right now to take a pic, but there new in box. Tradse are welcome. I will try and get pics in the next couple of days.

Ok i'm a bit confused..

Selling 120's, offered 155's

You originally say: "Im not sure if i want to keep them or not, i might want a higher din binding. "

And now you say you wouldn't want anything higher because of release issues??..

There is a fundamental flaw somewhere here.

This is the one thing i dislike about newschoolers.......Just because i said i might want a higher din binding doesnt mean that there not going to release. The 155's pretty much are like rat traps, they have no release. Thats why i said i didnt want the 155's. Why dont you just post if your interested in the bindings and not try and bash on a thread.

I think he just wants upward toe release..

I'm extremely extremely interested.

Whats the highest bid on these babies so far?

yo Jon, good sale right here bro. I got some axial 140s that I picked up from Ev if your would maybe want to trade, hahaha.....but yeah man, take the 155s, theyre way sick and i love them on my Big Troubs...but if not, just keep the 120s, theyre way sick!!!

I have p14 with wide or regular brakes, or if you rather p12 with wide or regular brakes. Great shape, no wiggle still click in.

I will trade either straight up.

Highest offer right now is 180. As for a higher din binding, i dont want an fks 155 or 185, because i have owned a pair and had a bad experience with them not releasing.

true, i dont know why everyone is giving you so much shit. i had a wreck where i pretty much just backslapped and my ski didnt come off because of no upward release and so the ski kept turning around and it was just like wrenching my knee. so i know what you mean.

free bump

I'll bump this thread, but just to counter you, I've backslapped hard with axial 140s that most certainly DID have multi-directional vertical toe release and they didn't let go of me either, it has more to do with the particular situation and how your DIN and forward pressure are set as opposed to a trait of the bindings themselves.

yeah, true but at least those bindings have a possibility of upward release whereas these do not. oh well, i mean everyone likes different stuff. just thought i would offer mine

finally got some pics:

120 race....whats this for NASTAR?jk dope bindings, i wouldnt sell them unless it was for alot of money,

you are going to sell these bindings with a VERY reliable din (like dynafits) and get another binding with alot less reliablity probably for more money, that you will have to replace in a year or 2 because something on them will get loose or they break completely....

not many bindings even have upward toe release anyways, its all sideways, salomons etc have no upward movement.......the axials/pivots kind of thats more twist and fall the toe wings rotate clockwise or couter clockwise. in a bad crash you will pivot out from your toe or heel on these fks, because just like any other binding the toe piece pivots, and unlike other bindings the heel piece does as well.

and im just noticing that that is the pivot toe piece, which like said above is the closest thing i think you can get to upward release.

I retract my offer to trade, I don't know why one of the halfmoon heel cups is silver and one is black, it makes it look like one is plastic and the other metal. Which is fine but would be quite different in weight. I have both plastic and metal and metal are heavy while the plastic are lighter.

You might want to clarify if that peice is black metal or black platic, the other silver one is certainly metal = newer/stronger but heavier.

Either way it looks like two individual bindings from different sets, again no big deal just I have no idea what's going on so I'll stick with what I got.

What are you talking about in this and your previous post?

That toe piece will release straight up!

So if that's what you mean by "closest thing" that there is to upward release, I guess you're right, cause it IS upward release.

(sorry for bumping your thread again...) fuck "upward release," the 3 times in my life I have needed to release upward (using these toe pieces) I released straight upward and snapped off one of the wing things... booooo. I have a heap of broken look/rossi toe pieces. Although I've never seen this happen to anyone else... so maybe I'm just a retard, the bindings are still awesome.

Dude i'm absolutely not hating on your thread!!

The 120's are bomber and the 155's even more so - i've almost never heard of release issues on the 155's though - SO reliable

If you think you want/can handle a higher DIN range, then the 155's could be a good option.

dude, its all good. I just had a bad experience with the 155's and i dont need these, so thats why i made a new sale to sell them.
