I have a pair of 179 BROs w/ px12 tis that recently delamed on me. I epoxied them up and they are good as new. Skied em twice since I did the epoxy and everything is as if nothing ever happened. Skied maybe 10-15 times. Awesome condition. No based damage, minor scuffing. Let me know if your interested..Just shoot me a PM or email me at BDePierre@gmail.com
 
have you contacted PM Gear about this? you should at least try, they're pretty good about it, especially if they're not blems.
 
Taking advantage of Pat's generosity like that isn't really cool. At all. Either keep them or give them to someone who needs the skis more than you do.
 
Note that it is *just* a feeler. Gauging interest. I am not taking advantage of anyone..The best possibility right now is giving them to my brother, putting a rocker on them, or selling them to a buddy of mine. I'm not just trying to make a quick buck..I was actually looking more for a trade than anything. I support Pat. He takes care of me and I appreciate it.
 
because without metal you are putting the bend into the core and weakening it substantially, rather than bending a core that is bonded to a metal layer that helps to keep the camber and maintains some durability. Nevermind that a rockered 179 Bro would ski short as hell.
 
true..true..never thought about that...but they wouldve been used for ec trees had I done that, so skiing short wouldve been the whole point. thanks for that info though.
