great song choice, ive always wanted that to be used in a segement. i think the only problem with it was that you didn't use the song to its full potential. you just need to edit more around the song and make things fit better. right now it isn't bad, but if you can make things fit together better and flow more with the song it will be really sick...
 
thats how i feel... i think its kinda has to do with the shots.. i only filmed the kid on 2 days for a few hours so theres not much vairation
 
yea, its realy good skiing. i would take out the misty 7 it didnt have a grab. As far as the edit, the skiing is too happy and fun looking to go along with an immortal song. maby if you put some b&w filters and make it grainy to fit the song better. and maby up the contrast a bit.
 
Way to much inrun on the shots and out runs. That lens has got to go for next year. I think what is missing is variety, you are in the same place hitting the same jumps and rails. Nothing wrong with that, but you need to have more creative angles to make it more exciting.

Nice jumping, all you can do is make the most out of what you got.
 
i think the fisheye was annoying and distracting and unnecesary, songs dope, editings pretty good, skiings good but i think the lack of variation and the lense is holding u back
 
I know what it's like to not have much footage to work with. So far you've done a good job of mixing up what shots you have, and not just putting the same shot over and over. You can also "flip" the image to make it look like a different angle. Only works if there are no words visible though. Not a fan of the song choice, but you can make it work. It has a nice catchy beat; use this to it's full potential. the shots seem too long. You be a little "artsy" here and use jump-cuts that are cut to the beat of the song. If you're doing it on purpose, you can make it work and look good. Try different speeds as well. I liked how the follow cam stuff sped up between hits, but all the other stuff seemed to be at the same speed. Try leaving some stuff in real-time, or close to it. Once in awhile put the real slow-mo effect in to emphasize the difficulty of the trick. I noticed you tried to do it in once place, but it slowed down the most on the landing, which was a little sketchy. Just one video guys opinion... HOpe this helped.

Anyways, sick segment, needs more rails to be interesting, it seemed like a lot of the shots were very similar but I understand the time and footage constraints.

Really dig the skiing though, the tweaks on the grabs were very smooth.
 
Get rid of those two shots from the side of the jump. They make the kicker look really small compared to the other shots.
