i just got februarys freeze in the mail today, it is the 25th issue, the photo issue, phil porier issue, and free poster and stickers in it, it is a pretty good issue if you ask me

 
yeah that was a pretty good issue, I still think the Freeskier with JP on it is the best issue of any mag I have seen in a while

yeah i got mine i have been waiting forever. my fav. one was the JF one dec.01 that one kicked ass.

 
i wanna see those new scratch skis that the rossignol ad talks about. anyone who works at a shop that gets them or just buys them should post a pic

rossignolwas at sundsay river today and they brought the scratches with them...thrye fuckin crazy!...thyre wide as fuck and have a shitload of twin on em...the sidewall is weird...it ussually goes straight down like this | |

aaaaaaaaaaaaarrrrrrrgh i just got the new freeze and there wasnt any stickers!!!! was it supposed to be in a bag or something or what page where the stickers on. has this happened to anyone else cause the stickers were the main reason i wanted to buy the mag.

 
Like DCman says the shape of the ski is unusual. D-structure has them and are selling some of these. Tanner was on a prototype of the scratch at the WXG, the real twin is gonna have the same graphic except for the colors ( red -> black , yellow -> orange )

stickers shoudnt be your main reason, Freeze kicks ass, and this issue is pretty good, I like the history of it, i think i have the 4th one

 
do u get stickers, even if u dont have a subscribtion? are they on a pull off sheet, or just loose in a bag that holds the mag?

yeah i put that line one right under the back of my binding, and i put the multi-color freze one near the top of one of mine, but tose stickers are too damn small, they need to give us like 3 or 4 tight big ones, not 15 little ones, good issue though

Here's the skinny on the new scratch:

There are two models of the ski, the terrain park, and the backcountry. Both use the same method of construction, the only difference is in the waist width, the terrain park version has an 80mm wide waste, and the backcountry version has a 90mm wide waste.

These are being made in the rossi snowboard factory with the snowboard core (this because of the persistance of the team riders) it is a slant wall construction that is WAY WAY WAY more durable than rossi's standard Dual Tech (sidewall/cap construction) The core is called THC. Its a combo Microcell wood laminent with carbon fiber stringers on top an bottom.

If that didn't make any sence to you just know that they are the shit, and the graphic is a naked chick on the tip.

 
I got it today, solid issue. Yeah the stickers are on a sheet. Its cool to look at the history of Freeze. I remember an add for the first one, I was about to subscribe but I thought it was gonna be a kiddie magazine like sports illustrated for kids. I picked up a few issues every now and then, and last year I got really into new school and finally subscribed.

i thought it was a good issue too. but i think the stickers only come if u got the subsciption (on a sheet inside). oh well. the scratches sound sick. peace.

You know something that would really make me applaud? A guy gets stuck in quicksand, then sinks, then suddenly comes shooting out, riding on water skis. How do they do that?
 
haha, Shane McConkey breaks farting barier. Yeah, great issue. I didn't buy it yet though, cause I prtty much read it all in the store.

yea i looked through every issue in two seven elevens and none of them had them so either someone took em all or they are only in the subscription ones (if someone in calgary took them though could you hook me up with some)
