one last thing, when trying a new trick on snow, how scared/nervous do you get? because you cant really get better without scaring yourself. but on the other hand if you do something too hardcore for yourself your fear fucks you and you get hurt. see: double backflip attemp a week after first backflip to stiches in face. but yeah, whats your key, whats the line for you at which point the fear changes from improvement to face-fucking?

The reason you have fear is because you've failed at something simmilar. The best thingto do is be cautious take baby steps. Being cautious and being a pussy are diff. Think about it before hand, analyse, but whe you're taking off, just focus on motions, you focus well, you won't fall.

just do it. the longer you wait, the more likely you will not do it. i just think to myself, whats the worst that could happen? seriously. if its a non inverted trick, the worst that can happen is you land sideways and eat shit. you might break something, but u gotta take risks if you want to progress.

Fear is the ONE and ONLY enemy of progression. When I figured this out I started learning a new trick a day. I'm not saying I wasn't catious, I just wasn't scared.... That's the fucking ticket with skiing.

I know what you mean about fear fucking you up. Fear can get your more hurt than anything because its usually when you bail that you get hurt. The best way to deal with the fear is to ski with friends that push you to the limit. When i sit back and think about some of the shit we tried and done its a scary thought in it self.
