Fear of heights

For some reason I'm terrified of heights. Especially going 25mph off a jump. Anyway of overcoming it? and no I'm not a pussy its just how I am

i get freaked out if im on a high chair lift with no safety bar down

but i say, just keep jumpin and pushin your fear, so eventually itll become second nature to you and maybe you wont be as scared

i use to be terrified of the old gondola at gore (anyone remember that) but yea if i don't have a safety bar down i just try to ignore it and think about something else. off a jump though I get high then i freak out and usually fall then that worsens the fear

when i was a kid i was terrifide of hights but then i just cleaned all of the sand out of my vagina and i was fine

I was pretty afraid of heights for a while, then one day my dad needed some help cause he was going up onto our roof (about 3 stories on the back of our house) and I said I'd do it so I climbed the rickety ladder and went up onto the roof. Worked for me.

I get terrified when im falling from skyscrapers. luckily I realize im just tripping on shrooms in my bed

I'm afraid of heights, but I love cliff jumping into rivers and such. I guess I just like being scared

think of urself doing to jump-first start doing straight air, then u can do tricks. think about it this way-the slower you go, you will not hit the landing slope and land it. the faster u go, you will hit the slope and stick it...

i worked with a carpenter for about a year. It was wierd for me i could go up on a roof or on a ladder with no height problems, but when it came to scafefolding i couldnt do the heights

yea before you go visualize whats gona go down. visualise yourself doing whatever you wanna do. and when you pull your nuts up go for it

Yeah theres a way to overcome it. Just beat it with your mind. Your brain is making up a fear thats not really there. Just tell yourself that every time you hit a jump. That and practice hitting bigger stuff.

its not a fear of heights its a fear of falling from them but after you realize what you can really do youre just fine

Im not really afraid of heights because my friends and me used to throw eachother off of the chairlift when we were little bitches racing..

The only weird thing i have is when im out west and i ride a lift without a bar i get freaked out even though whenever i have the option to put the bar down i never do... its like the lack of an option is what freaks me out

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH The mountain I ski at doesnt even have safety bars. Some of the chairs are old school with huge ramps because they cant adjust the bullwheel.

There was this hit in the park, I wasn't going fast enough cause I was scared. Then on the chair back up I was like, wait people are doing things 5 times the size of this, don't be such a pussy. So after that I was better.

if it was on something that wasn't steep it would be better. if you went off it it and looked out it would feel like you are flying because all you see is air

you have to realize that your fear of heights is going to hurt you way more than the height itself. like if youre scared of the height on a jump, you will naturally slow down. but when you slow down, you dont have enough speed to clear the jump, so you will get hurt. just think about that before you approach the jump, so you get the confidence to have enough speed to clear the jump. then, once you clear the jump, you will probably think to yourself how scary it was. this is okay because just going straight off a jump makes it seem alot scarier than if you do something off of it. so then once you clear it, try something (even if its only a grab) because it helps you take your mind off of the heights, and makes you focus on the trick youre doing.

i was terribly afraid of heights until last summer. I was part of a team building the frame for a house in tennessee (thats not really relevant). So after i had to climb up to the roof to get tools i wasnt afraid anymore.
