Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas

i tried to watch that movie when i was drunk and i couldn't handle it. I lost interest after about 30 minutes. I should try and watch it sober some time when i get the chance.
 
the movie wasnt nearly as good as the book i thought, but its still a pretty good movie, if you were at all intrigued by it you should read the book
 
Depp does an interesting take on Hunter S Thompson. Allthough interesting its not very accurate unfortunately. Hunter S Thompson was more like Gonzo than Duke.
 
and it wasnt johnny depp, it was in his will that his ashes be shot out of a cannon. that's what happened. there was even a special edition HST beer brewed out there shortly after his death. his individual spirit and amazingly groundbreaking journalism will be missed. RIP HST
 
How was it slow?

it is probably the best movie i have ever seen. Thompson was a genius, but didnt he die?
 
Yeah dudes you gotta see "Where the Buffalo Roam". It is actually one of the best movies i have ever seen..... it still isn't weird enough for me.
 
it was really good for the country, it encouraged people that were hopelessly oppressed by the conformity movemenet of the 1950s and early 1960s to break free, and express themselves
