oficially the best qb in the history of the game. one of the best seasons of his career. claims packers have most talen they ever had while he was on the team. will he retire??? thoughts???

and they have the youngest team in the nfl... this is a man who was about to retire, thats insane. he's breaking so many records that he set a record for breaking so many in a season haha
 
there cant be much of an arguement considering he has numbers to back him up.

i was trying to hold myself from saying tom brady.

brett farve is good...but i wouldnt go as far to say that he is the best ever.

Favre is amazing. I have to admit he is the greatest quarterback to live.

If anybody can break those numbers, it's Tom Brady. IF he has receivers of this caliber for the rest of his career, he will break those numbers. He sure as hell is on pace for it.

haha, it was funny because they were showing him crying about something or other (he's always crying? pussy) and my mom was like awwww.
 
favre even calls the offense at times....... thats how good he is........it usually works out pretty good too........
 
great quarterback, but not the best ever. favre has only won 1 superbowl and he also has the record for interceptions
 
Gunslingers throw hard and they throw picks those are the facts.  He has 3 league mvps.  Owns every other positive qb record in the books so we can look past the picks in this case.
 
favre has only wn 1 championship because he was on quite a few teams that were lacking talent. the fact he even came close to putting up those numbers with the talent he has been working with the past ten years or so is amazing. breaking these records is just a testimony to bretts talent.....
 
it's even more amazing that favre has done what he has with the recievers he has played with. he has had some good recievers over the years, sharpe, driver, freeman, etc..., but for the mostpart, the packers have lived or died on favre's back. not too many players can carry a team the way favre does for as long as he does. and say things like "put er in the old vice!" and still look cool.

If you s\igned up now to get on the GB packers season ticket waiting list you'd be around 75,000th in line, at 70 being freed up per season you'd have the tickets around 3074, just in tine yo see farve's last season. Nahh but serial hes sick,
 
He's a good quarterback but its mostly the fact that he's been playing for so long that he has so many records. None of his records are single season records. They're just career records.
 
this year is his 17th season. marino retired in 16. durabitlty and toughness is key for an nfl qb. we all know how durable he is. playing through broken fingers and things that would keep other qbs out of the game, he deals with it and he performs. and the fact he is putting up these kind of numbers so late in his career is absolutely amazing.
 
although i didn't read the thread yet, i doubt it. he is just an all around respectable guy, not much to hate about him...
 
yeah but it sucks, cause the receiving core brady and favre have aren't even close. brady has good people all around him, and has for his whole career. favre on the other hand...haha
 
i was gonna say first person to say brady is better is a homo but looks like i was too late. fucking douchebag pats fans.
 
any quaterback more famous for his hot dimple chin and tabloid fodder relationships will never be as iconic as favre. brady is more like the next broadway joe. i wouldnt be suprised if he does a support hose ad next.

 
favre is top 5, but i think in the end Peyton Manning will be better. Also Peyton basically runs the Colts offense all of the time
