Favourite fish to catch

Personally, I think nothing beats a good old sockeye salmon. The raw power they have is unbelievable. Also, I love catching northern pike just because they have really weird ways of fighting you, like rolling over and cutting the line and wrapping the line around stuff.

What about you guys? whats your favourite fish to catch and why?

Small stream trout are fun. Sneaking around each corner, and peering into a deep hole to spot them sipping never gets old.

Talking about taste and not raw power.. I'd say Orange Roughy

Power I'd say.. Blue Marling, Yellowfin Tuna, and Alligator Gar

I hooked a Muskie once; wasn't able to get it up but it was fun none the less. Bass are pretty enjoyable as well.

I've never fished for bass but after all of frenchy's snapchats, I really want to

Muskies are absolutely thrilling to catch. I caught a 39" in northern Wisconsin/Michigan last summer.

After throwing about 2,000 casts, it just feels so nice to finally get one... and they fight like hell.

Absolutey.

Its shame frenchy isnt here anymore. This is a thread for him. #ripfrenchy

fly fishing small streams for trout is always great. Haven't had the chance yet, but I think tarpon fishing would be amazing.

In the river near my house there are large walleye that put up a pretty fun fight more than the trout and catfish but my favorite salt water fish is the barracuda

Definitely muskies. The power of a 50"+ fish is absolutely unreal. Catch one in the figure 8 is easily the top moment uve had in fishing

Smallies come in at second
