some people have probably travelled quite a lot around the world and was wondering what your alcoholic beverages of choice were

Guinness from Dublin tastes wayyy better than anything you can get here in the states. I was never a huge Guinness fan before, but after visiting that completely changed.

I think grey goose is where it's at in terms of how much I can drink without getting sick. Or rum, rum is good in most situations.

ive travelled a fair bit but must admit im cheap when it comes to the drink. but i quite like budweis budvar (on tap in Czech Republic) and pisco

I've only had Absinthe once and it was brought from Belgium by my cousin. She mailed it back to the states.

somebody let me have two bottle shots of that stuff one night after i was already drunk (and had already puked)... most fucked up i've ever been.

My favorite shot is some cherry syrup and the rest this shit. A specialty I've only found in Bari. A couple of these and you're gone.

My favorite beer is grimberger. Tried it in Belgium and fell in love. 10% but smoother than cupids ass

i've had some 80 proof apple pie 'moonshine' that was fucking delicious

seagrams 7 crown dark honey and JD tennessee honey are really good too

This. Germans know beer like you wouldnt believe. As for hl definitely tres generacions tequila. Shits all over patron

I dont remember much from my nights abroad, but i remember slamming these down alot so it mustve been good

Absinthe is too damn strong imho + it gives me raging headaches ...I prefer genepi a lot more, it's better tasting (less of that anise flavour ), and it's still strong but won't knock you out so fast :P

or a personal favorite because of the memories (or lack of memories) attached to it: Gnole

it's a french spirit very much like grappa and a friend of mine distils it himself. it tastes like cowdung but will knock you out before you know what's hitting you :P

that is a regional alchohol from France right? what region is it from, the south...or is that pastis?

ahh ok just googled it. savoy. going to try to get my hands and that and some chartreuse

it's very much like chartreuse except genepi is based on extracts from the genepi flower while chartreuse is from a whole array of herbs(including genepi if i'm not mistaking) ...

eurgh chartreuse is awful. i had to try all the alcohol at a bar so i knew what i was talking about (i know right?) and i had one of these as one of my last drinks and it tasted like ass and i remember none of the night after

i heard once that no one person knows the recipe for chartreuse its split between 2 monks that each know certain parts, but that could be a lie
