Favourite albums to listen to when you're stoned?

Dislocated my shoulder and this is taking up my time and I'm wondering what your choices are. Currently on Unknown Pleasures by Joy Division and Currents by Tame Impala

Suggest giving curren$y a listen kind of an acquired taste. For albums pilot talk 1,2 are real good, mixtapes new jets city and verde terrace.

At Long Last ASAP - ASAP Rocky

Sometimes I Sit and Think, Sometimes I Just Sit - Courtney Barnett

To All My Friends - Atmosphere

Wolf - Tyler the Creator

I Don't Like Shit I Don't Go Outside - Earl Sweatshirt

Funkadelic - Maggot Brain. seriously I listen to it everytime I smoke and have access to music.

Deltron 3030 self-titled album is one ive probably listened too more than id like to admit and its seriously still good every time

when im drunk and stoned I love to blast old metallica. Ride the lightning and kill em all are fuckin wicked albums.

i have lots

Unfortunately that's kinda true with a lot of listeners but then you can tell the men from the boys by people who actually know who influenced that kind of music and similar of shoots of the genres.

The Cure

My Bloody Valentine

The Jesus and Mary Chain

To name a few...

still entry level post punk (I guess mbv is shoegaze but still)

Try Bauhaus, Public Image Ltd, The Wire or even Siouxsie and the Banshees if you haven't listened to them before. I like joy division but their music (especially unknown pleasures) has become overhyped from tumblr and t-shirts.

Closer is a better Joy Division album btw.

ALSO New order>Joy Division

Closer is also part of my current rotation, the two albums I mentioned were the first two that came to mind, I have Mask by Bauhaus on record back home in England, New Order are definitely one I need to dig into more as I haven't immersed myself in it.

Loving this input though as it's really along the same lines as I've been listening too (kind of rediscovered it from listening to it years ago) things like Sonic Youth are also making the rounds alongside The Modern Lovers and The Flaming Lips
