J.d. made a nicelil thread about top 5 in the last5 years but im curious what your favorite album ever is, the one you are always in the mood to listento, where you are stoked when you hear a song from it...

I would have to say mine is probably

Bruce Springsteen: Greetings from Asbury Park (Blinded by the light)

Nice.

This thread could also be titled...

Favorite Album of the most indie/obscure band you can name for people to think you know you're shit, and then throw in Dre 2001 or something fyre like that.

Wu-tang = "some fyre shit like that"

Good, well respected rap.

Springsteen is in there for the mainstream appreciation.

Slandis definitely has some good picks.

I listen to a pretty wide array of music... check the Last.fm...

If I had to chose one CD...

Say Anything - ...Is a Real Boy

It's poppy... it may be "emo"... but it's the one CD that just hasn't gotten old.

You didn't impress me!

Haha, just playing. The earlier comments wern't so much directed at your respectable picks in the original post, but the ones that followed by different users...

your un-surfacey. sloths are un-surfacey motha trucka! m.schnida himself looks like ronnie james dio, KING OF METAL. black sabbath judas preist megadeth fuckin WOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!! SLAYERRRRRRRRR!

lets see here

interpol - turn on the bright lights

elliott smith - either/or and from a basement on the hill

brotha lynch hung - return of da baby killer

thats all for today

I should have thought that one thru, since i'm in NS land. what i was implying is that all music. all genre's all styles are surface because they are creating, expressing. if someone (i cant even imagine) didn't like music, and like living excessively (fuh2) that is un surface or at least my perseption of surface.

It hard to use satire over the internet.

with all the "this is so unsurface" and "that is so unsurface" around NS, I was just making a sarcastic comment.

and who doesnt love going crazy to metal every now and then?
