FAVORITE SKI RESORT

how can you say that squaws terrain is not worth every dollar of the pass. you have obviously not skied squaws true terrain. im not talking about the terrain that you can see from the lift (with the exeption of the fingers and the palisades), but way back on grannite and silverado and there is a lot of stuff on kt if you are creative

I hate Squaw. All the locals love it but they are all such jerks if youre not one of them. Alpine has a way better vibe. Everyone is friendly and the pass there is only $200. Squaws isn't worth ever penny because you have to put up with all the jackasses that ski there. You can get a pass at Alpine, Northstar, and Sierra for less than a third of what Squaw's pass cost and you'll get access to equally as good terrain and the two best parks in Tahoe. Also Northstar never goes on windhold so on super stormy days you can hangout in the trees in Northstar til the lifts open at Alpine. Squaw has a decent park and some very sick terrain but it's not everything that people talk it up to be. I hate the people there. THe locals are jerks and all the rich fuckers who come from Texas and shit are even bigger jerks.

you dont know what you are talking about. maybe if you actually caught someones eye at squaw then you would see how cool everybody is. believe me, squaw has the coolest people. they are all cool with letting you do your own thing and stuff. and when you throw down they are all there to tell you how dope that was. and the terrain is amazing. you cant ski at squaw for one day and find the true terrain of squaw. ive been skiing there for years and im always finding new cliffs and stuff

If it was still open then Berthoud Pass.

Now, probably Baker or Crystal. Alta and Jackson Hole are awesome as well.

I do know what I'm talking about. I hung out at Squaw four days a week for 2 months and I just never felt like the locals were cool with me being there. Michelle is the only nice person I met. Everyone else just seemd like that had a lot of attitude like blocking jumps so them and all their friend could hit them eventhough I got there first. And yelling at me eventhough they never called their drop. And don't even get me started on the big mountain riders there. They all think they're so bad ass cause they ride KT-22 and Granite Cheif. Yeah the terrain is bad ass but there is equally steep knarly terrain at Alpine and it's open boundary so you can ski it. At Schweitzer where I ski in Idaho there is stuff that is just as steep and at Stevens Pass in WA there is even stteper stuff than anything at Squaw. I don't know why Sqauw gets this rep when it's really not that exceptional.

I don't know maybe I didn't spent enough time there but I never liked the people there so I skied elsewhere.

Both of you shut up.

Just because one of you has had bad experiences and one hasn't, doesn't mean that it's good or bad.

It's all how you make it yourself.

I know people who have never had a good day at whistler and hate the place because every time they have gone people sucked or lines were like an hour or the snow sucked that day.
