Favorite ski movie, snowboard movie, and favortie part

I was wondering what everyone's favorite movies and part are this year now that everyone has seen most of the movies. And backup your response, give reasons why you like the flick. And don't just rag on other people's response cuase there is a reason they like a certain movie. Personally I'm more into the big mountain side of things so I really liked High Life. There were lots of good parts and awesome terrain. I think Saturation was the best snowboard movie because it has tons of variety in the riding and no terrain park stuff just booters. And lastley Sage had the absolute best part this season he was doing 3's off off all kinds of cliffs and this quarduple stager was so nice. In my opinion that is where skiing needs to go.

 
my favourite ski movie is Royalty, its the best ski movie ever created, its so ahead of its time. The style of the riders then is what people are just realizing now. Pollard has the best segment becuse he does a 7 rail line, all soo smooth, you can find that in videos these days but not back then, Belan and mick are so stylish, such a good movie.....

my favourite snowboard movie is shakedown, just becuase i like the soundtrack and its the only new movie ive seen this year, my favourite rider is mikey leblanc because he has so much energy and hes very stylish....

one of my favorite films to watch is girl skateboard's yea right. it is edited very well, and shot even better. for those who haven't seen it they use some High speed cameras and film from a board people doing kickflips, 360 varials, ect right behind the dude doing the tricks. it is one of the sickest intros out there.

forr skiing 1242 has some of the best editing I have ever seen.

Snowboarding is tough. this year white balance is way sick, last year vivid and afterbang are tight.

I agree with queer matt above me. Peps part in 1242 is so moving with that Matrix beat and everything is just so dope. It is unexplainable

Best Movie: Session 1242

Best Segment: Pep in 1242 or Pollard in Royalty (his flatspin is just so niiiiice)

Freeskiing is a lifestyle, and true skiers are the ones who live this lifestyle, not the ones who follow it.
 
For me my favorite movie of the year was 1242, and Peps part was just fuckin amazing. But also another segment that i really noticed was Hugo's in Focused. He just stuck everything he hit, and not just small stuff, those 70 footers he hit. Also some of those lines he was doin were disgustingly sick.

The only enemy agaist progression is FEAR!
 
Word by maddog, one of the best ski/snowboard movies ever... and Global storiming, some of the coolest looking tricks and some of the best line skiing, actually trees in the lines

 
i think the most underrated snowboard video of the year will be Alterna-action's REFLECTION. really good considering nobody had high hopes for it.

Willie Yli Llloma segment in Lame and Afterbang were so well done.. such an under rated boarder... but soo good. And i have to say that AfterBang is still one the best sport movies of all time.

for skiing i like ski movie 3, the crevasse part and candides part were both insane. and for skating, yeah right and dying to live. also, dogtown and z boys

happy dayz or 1242, its really hard for me to decide which one I like better. key word i. not u. but anyways peps seg is the best as far as tricks go but my fav of all time has to be tanners in hd

sometimes when im running water to wash dishes or something, i think about how lucky i am to have such simple access to running water and how some people will never know such a simple pleasure.

then i let it run for awhile, just because i can.
