so out of any ski movie made, what is your favorite segment considering song, skier, content, editing, progression, whatever.

the last scene in high society....the living end the songs...it has lots of different skiers in it....and then it goes into mark shermans continious rail falls.

 
Jeff Holden's in Ski Movie, Swany and Gordy's pow seg in Mind the Addiction, and I think it's Sverre Lilequist's (bad spelling) segment in The Trip.

jp auclairs is pretty sick in propaganda for like first 10 times you watch it, after that it gets old.

but we're forgetting the last scene in further. candides scene. thats gotta be the sickestever.

jps in propaganda is kick ass with the bus station rail and that chimney, also the huge step up. jons segment in propaganda is kick ass, with the d spin 9 in the pipe and those huge hip hits and fuck authority is a sweet song. morrisons segment in high society is sweet, and of course any segment with saucerboy. for humor though, definately nick mercons freestyle walking segment in burger time.

I really like the phils segment in The Realm, which for those who havent been around that long was TGR's first movie, or first successful one anyway. But their are some weird tricks in that segment that i dont even really see in the newer movies. Like dion throws this goofy thing where he goes into a underflip but reverts and lands regular, its sweet as hell.

 
yeah TGR had some pretty big films back in the day in harvest and the continum (sp??). lots of people think the realm was their first real sub par film.

Dive back a few years to '1999'. First ski movie I ever owned and still my favorite. The double secret location seg with Robb, Shane, and a few others is one of the best clips ever shot.

The music is different and it's just really sweet skiing. Plus the voice dub-overs make it feel a little more, i dunno, homey. Haha.

argh some lazy sloppy buddies at school lost my copy of 1999 in their house. I'm pissed off; they coulda lost anyone of my many other movies but they chose to lose 1999. I'm gonna try to scam a free copy of scott or make them buy me a new one if they don't find it when they're forced to move out next month.

woa we are tottally forgetting a scene. a wicked sick scene too.

candides scene in further....thats gotta be the best ski scene during that year. that was such a sick ski scene.

theres a natural mystic flowing through the air if you listen carefully now you will hear. its the first trumpet calling. might as well be the last. many more will have to suffer many more will have to die dont ask me why. things are not the way they used to be.
 
this might be unpopular but i like jf's in propaganda with the flatspins and his technical rails (trapezoid, rainbow)
