yes i know there was just a post about this but i cant find it so im posting again.... whats your favorite newschool skiing magazine and why, post as many different ones as you can i need to pick a new one to subscribe too.... so far i got FREEZE, Freeskier, 2, Axis, and Powder... let me know what you think of those (pros and cons) and any others, i was wondering what that SBC or something magazine is like....?

Whoever thought 'gee i wonder if i can ride down an icy hill with wooden planks strapped to my feet?' is a genius...

2 is the best. Better pics, better articles, better in general, SBC Skier is second, the pics are pretty sweet, it's got more Canadian content(nice if you're canadian) and you can play the fun 'find all the weed/420 references in this issue' game. Freeze comes in third, and no one has come up and given me any good reason for reading freeskier. Someone is going to mention the girls in Freeskier, but seriously, get a penthouse if you're looking for chicks. Or any other porn mag for that matter. Powder is just another regular ski mag, like Ski or Skiing...shit.

Axis has shown a lot of potential, so I support them. But currently, I like SBC Skier. Freeze is a hunk of shit. It's nothing more then a few pretty pictures stapled together.

FREEZE is really good - thats why i bought a subscription. Freeskier is ok - its a little longer than freeze usually and has more content (WTF is up with some of the new freeze issues? short as hell and more ads). i have never seen axis, 2, or that sbc one. are they only available in ski shops or something?

Skiing magazine is the shit. My mom has a subscription to that, and its all about skiing skills for old people. I love it.

Truthfully, Freeze is. My mom really does have that magazine though.

i like freeze axis is pretty decent. needs to be longer though. i get Ski for free, and i read that bc im a ski instructor, so some of the stuff is useful, but ive never heard of sbc or 2. can you get those in the states.
