Favorite Ski Hotels

Somewhere thats probably a little more realistic for 95% of ns, Hostel at jackson. 5 min walk to the tram and 2 min walk to the bar

Came here to post this. So many legendary stories of weekend trips from salt lake with the boys, getting into it at the Moose, trying to poach hot tubs at the nicer hotels before making our way back to the hostel. Wake up hungover, room smelling like feet. Walk to the tram line. Do it again.

Spent several nights here on spring break in college. Skied all day at Whitewater, drank pitchers and played music with my friends in the restuarant/bar/music room, slept in a room with 5 people, sweaty ski gear, smelly boots and a twin size bunkbed. Was a grand old time

The Ymir hotel is actually really sick. Great place to have a couple beers after a day skiing Kootenay pass.

The K2 Skier's Lodge in La Grave, France was definitely the coolest place I've stayed to ski. Was on a study abroad in college and managed to hitch a ride over there with two random skiers I met in the city. No one else from my school even brought skis so I was flyin solo. Hostel-style but got my own room, everyone there was stoked on skiing, and there were old K2 pow skis signed by Pep Fujas on the wall above my room. Incredible free breakfast too, and a bar on the ground floor. Would highly recommend if you're ever there - the mountain itself is an insane experience too:

Anyone have any recommendations for Utah or a-basin?

Park City heads up is the Chateau Apres is the same rate no matter what night it is its a flat 150. Monday early December and NYE are the same. Book early of course. Other side of the canyon just remember its a big city and another 5 miles away from the hills can get you a room for 40 bucks.

If you want nightlife you want Park City and walking distance to the downtown. Anything else will disappoint. Especially downtown SLC.

If this is true that's unreal, I imagine it gets booked fast, that's a fantastic location.

Yeah.

You have to eat 20% on booking no refundable fee but other than that you can cancel.

I was going to do it for this holiday break. Glad I passed on this and buying an Epic.

Perfect location to get to the lifts and bars.

PC is fucked up crowded and we have below average snowpack, its brutal.

The Flaming Kiwi in Queenstown NZ is dope. Stayed there for three weeks when I skied the remarkable, cardona and coronet peak

Grandpa grunts is legit! Decent breakfast in the morning. Little hangout spot downstairs. Had some great times there!!

Grampa Grunts in VT. It's hostel style but you get your own room. Right down the road from Jay. $50/night with $50 lift tickets to Jay and free breakfast
