I have to say my favorite is skate 2. I could play fun track and the mega ramp for days straight. not being able to walk in skate annoys me and skate 3 looks weird and the megaramp sucks. opinions?
 
Skate one is the best without question. Only people that say otherwise are the ones that hopped on the bandwaggon when 2 or 3 came out and tried to go back and play one.
 
When I still had my Xbox I had Skate 2 and Skate 3. Skate 2 had a couple way sick parks, like the one with the three jumps side by side. But for just skating around everywhere I prefer Skate 3. With Skate 2 it bothered me how you couldn't get rid of the guards, and the bolts and shit on rails. (Unless you hired your guard, or paid to get the bolts removed.) When I hang with my buddies I play Skate 3 at their houses, and now looking back at it I think it would be fun to play Skate 2 again.
 
Real skateboarding has got to be one of the most difficult activities. Its such a mind game let alone it takes so much time to learn a new trick. This may not apply to everyone though
 
The original mayne. Pop glitching, linking every flip trick known to man in one manny combo, and the spots were too legit.
 
but sitting in your friends basement at 2 in the morning dropping the observatory bowl in skate 3 is probably greatest memories ever. you cant real skateboard tricks all the time.
 
3 because it had such a great playback mode, being able to change all the angles was sick. I played it first so the other 2 just seem to have limitations.
 
Skate 3 is simply an awesome game, and that's coming from a guy who usually doesn't play those kind of games
