Favorite show on the dicovery channel

man the discovery channel rocks my world im going to have to say how its made. but i duno the real super humans might take it when it comes out this fall. also man vs. wild will be dope when it comes out its like survivorman to the extreme
 
dude I love the discover channel, but planet earth sucks compared to the bbc's collections like "blue planet" or "life of mammals" or "life of birds" or any of the ones with dave attenborough. Anybody who has seen the bbc nature videos please back me up. I swear if you liked planet earth you will cream your pants when you see these videos. for example life of birds is on 3 dvds, like a total of 11 hours of video, we used to watch it stoned as fuck in college its so much fun its like a trip
 
i like planet earth. we watch that in science its really cool. all these big time ganja smokers at my school get high and watch that shit
 
man vs wild. i know about the hotels and such, but its still better than survivorman. i think i watched build it bigger once and that was pretty good, im not sure if thats what show it was though

yeah, to the extreme phony lameness. everyone knows bear grylls is a tool, les stroud would kick his ass, he's so much better.

and planet earth was fucking amazing, but i'd consider that just a miniseries. my favorite regular show is mythbusters.
 
Haha, I get home after work/running and just leave that channel on all night. Soooo good. My faves are:

Planet Earth

Deadliest Catch

Dirty Jobs (its fuckin Mike Rowe!)

Mythbusters

Cash Cab (yes for random trivia, I would rule that game)

And any specials they have. I also will watch ANYTHING medical related on TLC - that face eating tumor stuff is incredibly engrossing for me.

for the 4 months after i got my 62 inch high def tv i watched nothing but planet earth in HD for the entire time. i would sit down, eat a microwave burrito and watch planet earth.
 
yeah anything on shark week is by far the best. THen deadliest catch is sick and my dad did that for a while. Mythbusters is always sickter.

I love the discovery channel, my favorites are probably cash cab and planet earth, I was so sad when it was over.

But I really dont like mythbusters that much because I think that the guys are tools, and in a lot of tests they overlook so many things. like the test where they wanted to see if it was better to drive with your windows down or with your AC blasting, and they came to a full decision, but thats impossible because so many variables come into factor its rediculous, such as what speed you are driving at which would change the wind current into the car, the size of the interrior that would need to be cooled, the wind conditions the list goes on.

But the redhead chick in the show is pretty hot.
 
yea but they were lame cross country skis i fucking love that show but they seriously need some new episodes ive seen them all multiple times

the channel has some good ones, and some bad. planet earth was amaising, but blue planet sucks. i just don't find footage of the ocean entertaining. i don't like lobster wars, or deadliest catch, because each episode is just too similar, and not enough variety. Suvivorman is good, because it actually has good survival tactics, but man vs wild sucked. if you do anything bear does, you will be dead. mythbusters is good, but the cast is kind of wierd. they are also too strict on saftey, and should just show the things blowing up, not all the time on them getting miles away, and hiding in a bomb shelter. how its made is alright, but sometimes you just get completely lost for what they are making. they could have done some of the products better, and more clear, but thay have some sick music.

thats all i can think of, and my views on the channel. yes, i watch too much TV.
