well you know.. syd barret floyd era was out of hand... to much acid.. then there was like the good times.. till rojer took the fuck over then shit fuck david made that learing to fly song. fuckin ass..... but floyd live is the best thing ever

i was not denouching the genis of syd barret (rip) he was the most amazing lrycst of his time and very uniqie sound... theres a pic of the whole band with david and syd in the same pic... i have jugband blues music video and omg... syd is fucked up..

I think that Us and Them will always be my favorite Floyd song. I really couldn't tell you why becauese in general I love pretty much everything they've ever done, but that one always gets me.

I saw Roger Waters do DSOTM over the summer, and I had a great time.

iam gonna say this right now... nick mason is better then john paul jones...... THERE I SAID IT>. ill take all you can

floyd.... words cannot describe...... also .. fearless is amazing...... but 4 reel.. if you can get some live music.. its 10 times better then their records.

What did you mean; Roger Waters the base player, since Mason is Floyd's drummer, or John Bonham, since JPJ is Led Zep's basist?

My list:

-Animals (Pigs on the wing seguing into Dogs is just heart-wrenching)

-The entire Wall CD 1 is, listenend to as a whole, incredible. The cruel atmosphere is mind-blowing...

-Of course, DSOTM as a whole always gets me

-On Meddle, Echoes is uber-intense.

-I actually enjoy the Atom Heart Mother suite, as well as Fat Old Sun and Summer 68 (NOT Allan's pyschedelic breakfast).

-WYWH is genious... Shine on parts I-V, then three amazing songs (let's not forget the actual WYWH song) seguing into Shine On part II... DAMN! It's such an emotional ode to Syd

-I love some early songs and 4 or 5 on Piper, but not everything with Syd...

-The Final cut sucks balls (consits of songs they didn't judge good enough for The Wall)...

Sadly, I've yet to discover Obscured by the Clouds, or that Orange CD, or a Saucerful of secrets. Any good?

you got me... ... i ment john bonham, mason live is way better the bonham its just that on the records hes playing slow as fuck.. if you want to see mason at his best . sacerful of secrets on live at pompai.. omg.... .. jpj is way better bass player then rojer.. i mean rojer is a god.. hes not the most creative bass player.. but is timing is perfeact and is on of the best composers and lyrics of all time.. ... i mean phil lesh is liek god on bass .. so i les claypool./. and dont even froget bout victor whootan

i personally like brain damage and eclipse...anything on dark side of the moon badsically, and wish you were here....ans ps i saw australian pink floyd last night

Dark side of the moon is probably my fav classic rock album, actually i think its a tie with Americas Greatest Hits

hey hoodrat, is that the live or studio version of ummagumma. oh, and for the album, i like wish you were here.

well in ummagumma.. thers a live album.. which has 4 standard floyd songs... intersteller overdrive(which is a syd song. but its richard wright siging instad of syd) set the controls. carful with that axe and sacerful of secrets/// and thers the studio album... which is really crazy.... the best time to listen to that is when your comming down from a acid trip
