Favorite Lunch break fooood.

The staff cafeteria at my home mountain was fucking awesome. It was better than the patron cafeteria. 2$ for a full meal which usually consisted of whatever fancy food the hotel had leftover.

used to be cup a soup and breadsticks but my home hill charges 25 cents for a cup and has banished 50 cent breadsticks

Pocket bacon is the way to roll. Pocket tots, and a coffee cup of mac n cheese are chill too.

RIP Doctor Tots, I'm going to crush some pocket meals for ya this season!

Ramen is always the move, it's basically free, you can make it in a cup and use the hot water from the lodge, its quick, it really doesn't taste that bad, and it's easily pocketable. And its core af.

This gonna sound ghetto af but... I get a coffee cup and fill it up with hot water from the coffee machine and then crush up a packet of ramen and toss it in there and put the lid on, leave it for like 5 minutes, then open it toss in the flavoring and enjoy.

if they got a microwave i do the canned soups but if they only got hot water the classic ramen lunch is a major key. Sandwiches, granola bars, or a few brewskis are also always a good play

Cheezits and Classic Coke just shut up and try it. NO questions.

I have a question: Do the Cheezits float in the coke like a kind of bizarro cereal?

Idk they don't fit through the hole and I'm not going to mash my precious cheezy pieces into there like a monster. If you want to pour some in a bowl together I'd love to see your results though.

Sorry, I think I misunderstood your lunch choice

I literally do the exact same thing.

Whatever snacks/leftovers are in my pack and then the leftover half/bits of whatever the kids ordered from the cafeteria, usually one third of a cheeseburger or the crust and corner parts of a grilled cheese...that shit's expensive, I'm not going to let it go to waste.

If I'm skiing alone, I usually bring a granola bar of some sort and eat it on the lift, then something more nourishing once I get home. If with friends, I don't mind stopping and having a real lunch with some beers. Just makes it harder to get back on skis after...
