Favorite Hot Sauce

I love hot sauces. Not so much the burning firey ones with no flavor but flavorful and hot. Right now I think my favorite is the original Frank's Red Hot. Whats yours?
 
i dont like usual hot sauces like franks or tabasco. i really do like hot sauces with my mexican food, usually habanero derived ones, the hotter the better. theres a great article in british GQ December issue about hot sauces if you have the chance to check it out
 
my dad brought this stuff back from korea it was fuckin amazing with rice. couldnt tell you what its called though i cant read korean
 
when in tijuana, my friend bought a novelty hot sauce (basically hotter than anyone in their right mind would put into food). Everyone one was sitting around waiting for our plane to arrive in the airport. No one wanted to try it so i tried to be the tough guy and take a shot of it. at first i was like, this shit is weak. within 5 minutes i threw up in the toilet in the airport and drank 3 liters of water to try to get the burn out of my throat. 2 hours later it still hurt to breathe. It was terrible to go on a flight from san diego to new york with only 2 little cans of sprite to soothe it.
 
To put on almost anything, or to use as a hot sauce when the recipe calls for it, Franks.

To cook with and make shit super hot, the hottest version of "The Bomb".
 
yeah, its actually chili pepper extract. because just habenero isnt hot enough. its basically pepper spray in a bottle
 
The hottest habanero has something like a 350,000 scoville unit rating.

And do they extract pure capsicum from chili peppers only? Cause Capsicum is found in all spicy peppers.
 
Blair's chipoltle slam or "The Source". i just like it because it comes in that crazy bottle that looks like an indonesian god.

i spent $26 on hot sauce today.
 
with african meals, you should try harissa, it's a red paste and is delicious with couscous and such things. Otherwise tabasco fits all, chili, pizza...
 
in montana they have this sauce called "Franks Fucking Fiery Sauce"...i put a shit load on some wingz i had and couldnt talk for 4 days

Yes. It's not even liquid, it's crystalized. You can put one speck the size of a grain of salt into a bowl of chili and heat 'er up... but I just eat it by the bottle 'cause I'm hard like that.
 
i got this one dialed. my best friend is like a hot sauce coneusior. he has taken an ENTIRE SHOT of Daves insanity before, (which btw sucks flavorwise). last year he got this stuff called Z. supposedly one of the hottest sauces in the world. not only was it very hot, it was also had an amazing flavor. kinda citrus-like. made the best salsa
