Comfortably numb solo hits me deep man. David Gilmore is something else. Doesn't get talked about enough for what he did for music. Guitar god he is(yoda voice).

He is one of my favorite musicians, and that solo is way too epic. But idk if I agree with what you say about his recognition. I believe with Pink Floyd and his solo career, he has sold over 250 million records. That is quite substantial, and only a handful of artists have achieved that. And most people realize that.
