its an asshole point because he thinks that anybody who doesn't work out and eat healthy is ugly or wrong or something to that effect.

but then again he's ok with his cake devouring body, and it's ok to be fat.

fact

That's not true at all. Beauty is relative. That means 50% of people have above average beauty and 50% have below average beauty. The term "beautiful" is typically used to describe people with beauty well above average.

Saying everybody is beautiful is like saying everybody is strong. It's disingenuous at best.

I don't think he was saying that he has a cake devouring body-- he was speaking from the point of view of an overweight female.

here, I've translated since I understand moron:

"Seriously? She's not like anorexic skinny or anything. It's fucking called being healthy. I can't stand all the bullshit people say about real women having curves and "marilyn monroe is super hot because she's fat-- I'm proud of my cake devouring body"...trying to make it ok to be fat and unhealthy.

Girls that are physically active and eat very healthy look like that. Girls that eat fast food and consume gallons worth of beer a week aren't hot and aren't healthy."

oh well in that case yea he's very misinformed.

@OGkush420- i guess if you want to be a realist and you're talking about physical beauty. look at a cancer patient whos gone through chemotherapy, do you *you personally* look at them and think that they describe what we think is beautiful? probably not because they've lost all their hair and are very very thin and pale. But once you look past that and see who they truly are and the struggle that theyre trying to overcome you can then understand them and appreciate them for who they are.

FUCK this part of the game.

i have no knowledge on the subject? i used to be unhealthy, like 15-20 lbs overweight, didnt eat well, was somewhat active. i wasnt terrible, i looked pretty normal, id actually describe my condition as pretty average for a young american guy. ive spent the last 2-3 years turning my health and diet around, instead of eating fried foods, lots of breads and grains, fast food, processed shit, soda, beer, etc.. i cut all that shit out. for the past year or so ive been pretty much only eating fruit, veggies, meat, eggs, nuts, water, milk, and tea. ill still eat whole wheat, rice, granola, deserts, etc.. but very rarely, usually only if its a party or special occasion, otherwise i have no desire for it. i dropped like 15 lbs pretty quick, started to feel extremely energetic, started doing a lot more physical stuff, i used to hate running or working out at all, now i run, bike, swim, ski, or something almost every day of the week, just the act of running is now is something i love, i cant get enough of it. i wake up with tons of energy, and sleep like a rock.

through this little diet transformation, ive met a lot of people who are going through a similar thing. and one visual thing they all have in common is they are very lean, fit, and thin. whether or not you find that attractive doesnt really matter, its healthy. i dont know where americans get this mindset like "im fat and proud" "my body makes ripples in its fat when i take steps, and if you dont like it shame on you" its like we are trying to make ok/normal to be overweight and unhealthy. like "good for you for sitting on the couch eating potato chips all day, be proud of who you are!" what might be worse is that a lot of people actually think its healthy, they call girls who are 20 lbs overweight, sit on their ass all day, and down a shit ton of beer every other day "healthy girls" WTF?

if you're slightly overweight, dont eat very well, and arent that active, but can ADMIT it, fine. i dont have a problem, its your life do what you want, thats completely fine by me. its when people shame skinny healthy people, and call themselves and their bad habits to make themselves feel good that i cant stand.

now all this being said, theres a big difference in being skinny and healthy, and just skinny because you're completely malnourished. the skin and bones zombie look is not healthy or attractive.

sorry for the rant but this is such a huge pet peeve of mine, having gone through what i did and realizing what eating well and being active can do for you, it drives me nuts when people say its not healthy, because our culture has shamed being skinny for the sake of being politically correct and making unhealthy people feel good.

Sorry buddy, but Angelina Jolie does look too skinny:

Her Tomb Raider days vs I think 2012... She was healthier IMO in her Tomb Raider days.

agreed, 2012 jolie looks like what i said, malnourished, which is the cool thing for hollywood stars. starve yourself for a week or two before a big appearance. tomb rader jolie is skinny but fit as well.

jesus dude, arguing that that girl is underweight or "too skinny" is not the same thing as arguing for obesity. And honestly, it doesn't matter how much knowledge you have when you go around making uninformed comments. I obviously only have what you've said to go by. And I assumed you had no knowledge when you said "girls that are physically active and eat very healthy look like that." This just isn't true. Few do, actually.

ACE-Fat-Lean-ratio.jpeg

I can't know the body fat percentage of the girl in question, although it would appear--athletic or otherwise-- taht is is on the low end and she is also lacking muscle. In terms of BMI she is clearly underweight. I viewed the video that the gif came from and I would guess the girl to be between 5'0" and 5'6"-- that being said, you can see what women look like at different weights/heights here:

www.mybodygallery.com

I did a quick search and this is what 5'3", 85 pounds looks like-- similar to the girl in the gif.

589235.jpeg

If you look at the girls who are 5'3" and closer to 100 pounds, they are clearly less skinny than our gif girl in question.

The BMI for a girl who is 5'3" and 85 pounds is 15.1. The normal healthy weight range for a 5'3" girl is 18.5-24.9, or 105-140 pounds. Making the girl in question approximately 20 pounds from even the low end of a normal healthy weight. Go ahead and try to tell me she's in the healthy BMI range-- you'd just kidding yourself.

Now, she could just be naturally skinny and have a high metabolism, but that wouldnt make her healthy per se. She could also be skinny from malnutrition in which case she isn't healthy. Weight does not tell you body composition, so you can't tell everything from weight, but underweight is underweight.

Either way, your statement of "girls taht are physically active and eat very healthy look like that" --just isn't true. The majority of healthy female athletes do not look like that. Here are a couple of examples....or do these Olympic athletes look fat to you?

So stop pulling out the strawman-- just because someone says that girl is too skinny does not mean they're an advocate for fast food and obesity.

Im not arguing specifically about that one girl, she probabably is a little too thin, but really not by much, ideal BMI is different for everyone, and depends a lot on your body type, bone structure, how much muscle you have is especially a big one. and other things specific to an individual, like metabolism, some people do better with low fat diets, some better with higher fat diets, etc.. some people naturally have less fat than others, and good diets definitely reduce the look of fat. when you are eating good, healthy fats, not the processed greasy bad fats most people get. my BMI is actually pretty normal for the healthy range, but if you were to look at me, you would think it were much lower.

really though, in this pic, she just looks lean and somewhat athletic, not saying shes ideal, but for someone with a thin, skinny hip body type, she really looks pretty good. nothing like that 85lb skelaton you posted. but im not going to argue heights and weight because we just dont know, but visually this girls got a bit more muscle. and looks like she actually eats. i wish i had a better picture, but from the little i can see it just seems like shes got a skinny body type. so just for fun, even though i disagree, lets say this girls 10-15lbs under her ideal, healthiest weight. is that worse than being 10-15lbs overweight, any nutritionist ive talked to would disagree. being a little bit under is in most cases quite a bit healthier than being a little bit over.

really thought, this specific girl wasnt my point, its our cultures mentality in general that being overweight is ok, even though its unhealthy, extremely unhealthy in many situations, we cant point it out and give them shit for having a poor diet and lifestyle, like this kristie alley lady, all those adds with her braging about being a real woman and real women have curves etc.. our cultures reactions is "yeah you tell em!" but when we see a picture of someone whos even just slightly underweight, which is actually still healthy, its suddenly a bad thing to think thats attractive. imagine if we had some famous actress, who was 25lbs underweight, rather than 50lbs overweight, in all these adds bragging about not eating much, and being skinny. people would flip shit. both are unhealthy, but its ok to encourage being fat for some stupid reason. maybe its because being skinny takes a lot of effort? in modern times, maintaining a healthy diet and level of fitness is actually a shit ton of work. its become the norm to be like 10-30lbs overweight, its pretty rare to see people who are actually at an ideal weight, and even more rare to see someone quite a bit under weight. maybe thats why.

This, i like this.

Also, that gif with the girl licking chocolate of that dudes finger... Cant remember who/where it was from.

come on man, no one was arguing that being overweight is healthy. Both being overweight and being underweight are unhealthy. The argument was whether or not that specific girl was underweight and whether or not her size was attractive.

You started off by saying she looked good and that she was an example of all physically active and nutritionally conscious women. Then you flip flopped. Everything else you had to say was either not relevant to my standpoint, something I don't care to argue, or an attempt to inform me about something I already know.

Since you agreed that she is too thin, I don't really see the point in continuing. What are we arguing at this point? Whether or not being underweight is less healthy than being overweight? I'd rather not- they're both unhealthy and I'll just leave it at that.

found out her name. here are some more pics..her name is sasha markina and she is a russian model-- no i didnt stalk her, these are from google images. Didn't really want to continue an argument, just thought I'd share since these are more revealing. Granted some photos on google images she appears a little heavier, not sure if those are older or more recent.

yup those pics make her look anorexic/malnourished/starving. in the pics before she didnt look that skinny, she looked lean and somewhat athletic, maybe just a little on the thin side, but i never said she was perfect. but yeah those pics ruin her.
