If I eat at home, I just have a protein shake. If I eat at the resort, Bear Mountain has this bomb ass breakfast burrito. It's pricey, but I get 50% off since I'm an employee.
I eat as much as I can stuff in. Lately I'm a fan of this japanese breakfast food called Natto, sticky fermented soybeans. It's grosser than it sounds...
I usualy have a breakfast samich from dunkin donuts and a coffee coolata then when I get to the hill I poop it out ( 1 hour ride ) then I ski extra good cause I feel all light and stuff
i tried having that for breakfast back when i was in tokyo but i couldn't handle it. my japanese friend on the other hand would eat it no problem and make a game out of how far he could strech the slime from the natto cup.
i laughed so hard at the original post bc thats exactly how it is wuth me, my friend just grubs and eats everything, but like all i can get down is a small bowl of cereal, and maybe some milk...
I know, my Japanese tutor got me to try it for the first time, and I was like whoa! Weird! But it was kind of good, and we bought a package of 3 so I had to eat the last one anyhow.
me and my friends always stop to mcdonalds on the way to the mountain its a tradition. Bacon mcgriddle with like 3 hasbrowns, some orange juice, and you're good to go. If I'm not going to mcdonalds i just make a grip of bomb oatmeal and have some oj and a banana haha
2 Sausage Egg & Cheese McGriddles from mickysteez. Or a bagel. theres a mcDonalds on the way to the mtn so I usually stop there and eat what I said above then ski until 2 or 3 and get a midday lunch kinda thing then ski until 8-10 and leave then stop at taco bell on the way home.
But really I'm all about a bloody mary at the lodge if I'm hungover. On a regular day string cheese and cold pizza works. With some odwalla OJ. so good.
