yea i just got back into reading too. i loved the fortress of solitude by jonathan lethem, it's about a white kid growing up in nyc, and it basically follows him through his life until he's about 30 something. there isnt a real captivating storyline, but it's so interesting the way he writes it.

"The Minds of Billy Milligan", I picked this up in Cambodia and could not take my eyes off it for 3 days straight. It is a true story about a guy named Billy Milligan who had 21 different personalities. It is totally documented and factual novel. It goes through everything he did and which personality is controlling him during each action. Crazy Crazy book......a definate read.

The only enemy agaist progression is FEAR!

i have recently rediscovered how much i love reading.

you know what you should do, find a used book store and search it for how ever long it takes you to find at least 5 books you want to read. it's cheap too. and just look through stuff, pick up authors you've never heard of and try it out. i did it, and read some really really good books.

Into the Wild by Jon Krakauer...non fiction book. I really enjoyed it and have read it a few times.

It is about a kid who graduates college with a very high gpa, and just tries to life a nomatic life. Hitchhiking or "tramping" across the nation until he comes up with a plan to make it to Alaska where he dies. I didn't give anything away, trust me. In fact it says this on the front cover!

The author gets his journal, and contacts people who he met through the nation from his old mail and what he writes in his journal....there is one dry spot in the book where the author talks about how other people tried to do similar stuff. I think you'll enjoy the book a lot, I have.
