uhh Placebo (some of their songs) and Le Tigre. those are the only bands I can think of that I have heard that has a female singer actually.

not usually a fan of female voices in the style of music that i like, but i'd say Hayley from 'Paramore', she's got a real dynamic voice and is really good live with no voice filtration.
