Favorite Band to see live?

sleigh bells at Sasquatch i'm guessing? i thought it was kinda shitty, but each to his own.

rodrigo y gabriela takes the cake for me.

Thinking about going to the New York one I mean its not summer without at least one night of dave. Last year was nuts

best show ive ever seen was moe. at the peekskill ny paramount theater place

missed my chance to see the flaming lips last summer at central park which could have potentially been mindblowing

Identity this summer: Kaskade, Chuckie, Steve Aoki, Avicii, Rusko, Datsik, and Nero. Any idea as to who'll be best? Also, Tiesto and Deadmau5 in September and October.

no hate, but how you could put rodrigo y gabriela over sleigh bells is beyond me

i don't even listen to sleigh bells and i stayed for their entire set, loving the whole thing. i left rodrigo y gabriela after like 2 songs, and i actually listen to them. they just didn't even come close to the energy level at sleigh bells

I'm going to see Foster The People live on the 17th. I've seen a couple of live videos on youtube and they look really sick, they're feeling their music. Can't wait

Grinderman, if you don't know them, check them out
The Strokes: Ridiculously awesome concert, most mental crowd I've been in (there was a guy crowdsurfing in a fucking wheelchair)
The Dead Weather: I had an eargasm
The Kills
Queens of the stone age
Them Crooked Vultures
Muse

haha yea i know i know.....
I went to flaming lips for a couple songs, and yea the show looked fucking awesome. balloons, rainbows, all kinds of cool stuff. but i don't listen to them, and i never really have.
yeasayer, on the other hand, is one of my favorite bands and i knew all the words to basically every song they played (aside from maybe some new ones, i cant remember).
i definitely understand why it's weird that i passed up flaming lips for yeasayer, but the fact is i know yeasayer really well, i've seen them before (so i knew it would be a good show), so it just made more sense to go to yeasayer.

rodrigo y gabriela vs sleigh bells is different though. i listen to rodrigo y gabriela and i would still say their show didn't even touch the sleigh bells show

Rush was really cool, saw them twice when they cam to Stl. Buttt my only thing to compare it to is the backstreet boys when I was 8 so ya.

Its really hard to say, the enviroment and crowd energy at a show can change everything for your hindsight. Broken social scene stands out in my mind as one of the better live acts ive seen. On the other hand, the raw energy of big dub shows kind of clouds my vision. That, or I and everyone else in the audience was on some kind of odd pharmeseuticals.

Oh, also went and saw Pink Floyd in Las Vegas a few months ago.

That was pretty fucking rad as well.

Deadmau5, sickest show ever.

Nero is going to be sweet at identity festival in boston, so stoked! Same for avicii.

i don't like live music but i really enjoyed seeing a steel drum band play, I've heard Foo fighters are really good live and I want to see them.

Verse!!!!! I know no one on this site probably knows who they are but watch the video and shows you how close and personal the shows are. It gives me chills every time I see it.

If I was going to pick just one I would have to say Tool

Runners up though, Phish, Zach Deputy, Yonder Mountain, EOTO, Furthur, Rusted Root
