its all about the mix. i hate kids who have too much of one brand. when i see something i like i buy it. if a kid has too much of one brand you can bet hes a tool. common tool brands are echo, abracombie, nautica, south pole, quicksilver, billabong, and all the skate brands
No one has polo shirts, or Ezra Fitch jeans...??? My idea of vintage would be a leisure suit, or something along those lines.... not $70 shirts, and $130 pants (from abercrombie and fitch).
I think he meant being a billboard for any of those companies... such as "Quicksilver" written on every piece of clothing, not just having the brand itself. If I'm wrong, not quite sure how that makes you a tool.
yeah, everything being one company is gay (uneless your sponserd by them).
you need to know how to mix things up. thats why i try get stuff that dosen't have a visible brand name. but my mom loves quiksilver and always gets me quiksilver stuff. thats why all my shirts are :quiksilver", but i don't give a shit.
for clothes you gotta keep it fresh. too much of one brand = not good. I have mostly shirts I got for free from lax tournaments, championships and also a few shirts and a quality mountain dew jacket I got at the snowsports expo last year.
i've got a lot of ski and bike shirts, but i really like WE/SC stuff. i couldn't care less about my pants as long as they fit, and i've got a couple of siver hoodies. i rock orchid shoes for everyday stuff and some casual addidas for going out
let me be honest. im a jeans/tshirt type of person. so usually i end up waring any pants that are comfy, with a random t-shirt. if its cold add a sweater or something. so really i own a whole ton of random clothes. but if i were to live in one pair of things it would be mavi jeans and a dakine tshirt. then some random pair of shoes.
ehh not so much atleast i dont consider my self preppy. i rarely wear polos or button downs. and my t shirts are mostly metal band t shirts lol i dunno basicly im a cross between goth(not the best way to explain but the closest word becuz i wear alot of back) crossed with preppy.. its hard to explain. im really into the hardcore scene if that gives u a good idea. but nothing close to emo style. fuck i give up trying to explain
