this car originally sold for about 20,000 dollars in the late 60's early 70's. Resale now for one in mint conditions is upwards of 800,000. Pretty incredible. When my dad was about 10 years old he was trying to convince his mom, my grandma, to purchase one, saying it would be a good investment. Kinda wish she listened now. One of the highest appreciation rates of any car.
doood, shelby mustangs are so nice..the new ones comeing out put out like 600 horsepower i think? maybe it was 500, no idea..thats more then you'd ever really need though...but yeah dude, i'm currently fixing up a 1980 official indy speeday pacecar trans am, its proving to be difficult..bought it for like 350, so if you acn imagine the shape its in....almost done though, its way mod
