I would ride those in park just to scare people...20 cm thick, that is like 9 inches. Where can you buy them? Because they aren't on liberty's website.
 
That is getting out of hand. Then again people said that when they all rode 50 mm waisted skis. As far as I cann tell right now, there is no need for anything more than 130 underfoot.
 
Why not? It's cool to see such an extreme, I highly doubt it will become mainstream. But at least there are people out there trying new things and new ways to slide down the mountain.
 
I dare someone to try and bend brakes around those suckers..

You would seriously need custom length brake arms - no normal brake would work - even if you could bend them around..

Thats seriously hilarious though..20cm wide.
 
they look like two carving swallowtail snowboards with bindings on it, really. but liberty of all companies would be idiots to try to produce a ski like that.

secondly those would be really dangerous for your knees. youd be turning and be about 8 inches off the ground...
 
yeah i wouldn't want to try a 200 ski cause i mean it would be really really hard to turn and you would never sink in and out of the powder it is fun to go in and come out not just skim on top the whole time
 
Looks like you would have to be pretty wide hipped to ski those fuckers and not be on your inside edge the whole time, maybe it doesn't matter in the depth of snow they are meant for

actually, they are called the "Big Fat Fuckers". and yes, they do look like swallow-tail boards to me too.
 
You would have to ride those like you ride a horse. Knees wider than your shoulders... just a thought where on earth is the snow that fluffy that you need 200mm under foot? Also if you don't want to sink into snow that bad go ride groomers.
 
that would be like strapping two surf boards on your feet.

and they legit fat skis are like 140 and i still think that is pushing it
 
so haha, ummm, i look at these SKIS and think, well what would mcconkey do?

i think he would probably say "you call those skis? these are skis!!!" and he would whip out some wakeboards mounted up with cross country bindings. then go scarachoute everest.
 
haha well yeah alot of people have mentioned shane mcconkey

he rode waterskis.....and im pretty sure he mounted 2 snowboards and rode them for a little bit
