Father strangles his daughter

I hate it when people think just because they are of a different religion, they take the law in their own hands...how does this relate, patricide is legal in Muslim states.

 
Normally I'd laugh but I think the father is such a worthless piece of shit and should die that I'm not laughing at your attempted joke.

I hope he never comes out of prison.
 
who said i was joking that girls father wants her to wear a hijab that girl wears a fucking hijab or gets out of his house she owes him her life anyways after all he has done for her
 
i remember seeing muslims on the beach in cuba on a really hot day dressed in like clothes covering like every piece of skin. its sad that they cant even go on the water and they have to suffer just because some piece of shit wrote a book when he decided he wanted to control peoples lives.
 
the goal of every Muslim is to lead a good Muslim life according the the Shari'a as described in the Qu'ran. Jihad is part of this Shari'a, and part of Jihad is to persuade other Muslims to be better Muslim. according to the Qu'ran, good Muslim women should cover their hair with a Hijab. this girl's father was just trying to be a good Muslim by trying to keep his daughter as a good Muslim. unfortunately, he took it way to far by fucking killing her.

sorry, i took a middle east class this semester and i'm writing the final paper for it now. it's a shame that we only hear about the nasty Muslims who take it too far. they are far outnumbered by the number of decent Muslim human beings who respect their religion and follow it, but respect others as well.
 
wouldnt it have been considered fairly normal for her to be killed back in her old country? i didnt really pay attention to where she was from.
 
you have no idea how hard that made me laugh, god dammit i hate all the brown families where the kids have no say in anything and they turn out to be the most worked pieces of shit. its so annoying, im not hating on brown people in general just those dads that think they are the only god to grace this earth and that if there son every trys any drugs he will strap him up and beat him endlessley for 10 years straight? wtf dude wtf.
 
the sad thing is yes it would, but it happens in other countries too...it's becoming more prevalent in Britian. it's called an "honor killing". if someone in their family disgraces their faith/family then the father kills them. for example (and these are actually real examples), a guys 14 year old daughter was raped but wasn't killed by her attacker, her father then killed her because her rape supposedly brought shame to the whole family. Also a 20 year old muslim woman was dating a man of another race, her father killed her and buried her in a suitcase in the back yard. its fucking disgusting
 
now im not pushing my views on anyone but for the most part, religion is ridiculous. im by no means religious, but if it gives you hope or something bigger to believe in, then more power to you. but in instances such as this i think it is absolutely bullshit. extremists, i mean. i dont fucking get it and that guy is a straight up asshole.

Just goes to show you how serious some people are about their religion. Some people are saying how "o muslim's are bunch of bullshit" and what not, but this is their life. Now i'm sure a lot of people here grew up in Christian homes, and followed Christian beliefs for at least a portion of their life. But you see following for only a portion is the big difference between what we're used to and how things are in Religion led countries. Someone brought up in a Muslim faith is not given an option of whether to continue following like Christians are. These people follow their faith well...religously. They're taught that if they break away from their religion awful things will happen to them. And when they're surrounded in a Muslim environment it's not that hard to stay faithful, just like monks in a monastery. So when they moved, yea they brought in outside influence, but don't say they shouldn't have moved if they didn't want to change. Most of these religion led countries are totalitarian, military states. Where it's not safe and there is no good education for women. Now i'm in no way letting the father off the hook for what he did, he's sick yes, but he was brought up in that culture and that's all he knows. It's a terrible thing and I think not only is it a reflection on the Muslim society that raised him but on the modern society that raised her. We're taught that we have to look a certain way and looking different is awful, and it's at its worst in high school. This should be a chance for everyone to see what happens when these two far different cultures clash, and to look at ourselves and how we are influenced.
