Fate...

not good persay..but intersting and makes you think alittle bit about how small events in your life have shaped different relationships and events...and maybe perhaps had one done something differently life may have turned out a little differently

not so much fate as having goals in mind and then making them happen, yes. making smart choices will lead to a bright future.

let me quote myself:

The wisdom of the past is the light of the past

The light which is to be the wisdom of the future

The light of the future casts the shadows of tomorrow

i don't per say believe in organized like predetermined destiny fate kind of stuff, but i love how fucking weird the universe is when sometimes, just two things seem like they're in perfect alignment... like when you meet someone you really needed to meet in life, and it changes you... things always seem to happen when you need them to

Happy for you and all, but it is basic psychology. Our brains are tuned to either ignore loose ends or then, even arbitrarily, complete them. So you might remember sometimes thinking (referring to happiness of meeting someone you love for example) "Did I always feel this way? ...yes, I really needed him/her/this thing in my life back then and it changed me."

I think it's far more interesting to figure out why we function so predictably than just believe in predetermination.

Just to clarify, I'm not some radical who believes in the whole ancient Greek gods fate thing like in Oedipus Rex or something. I just wonder sometimes if some things will happen regardless of what we do and how much control we actually have.

according to them, wouldn't that make them boring and unimaginative in life? considering they believe that they don't make any real desicions and that everything in their life is predetermined...
