Fate and car accidents

after school today i was supposed to go to my friends house. i called him up and he said i couldnt come over. so i went to my house and took a different way than i would have taken to go to my friends house. on the way home i hit a patch of ice with my car and anihilated this persons mailbox. my question is if i would have gone to my friends house would i have avoided hitting the mailbox or would i have gotten into an accident no matter what?

Well, if you went to your friends house I'd have to say that you probably wouldn't have hit the mailbox that wasn't on the way there. But yeah, it seems like there's some days where no matter what you do, you get screwed.

It didnt happen for a reason! It happened because you hit ice. If you went to your friends house, you wouldn't have hit the ice cause it was on the other road. Simple. hahahahaha on the way to school this morning my friend hit a patch of ice and did a 180 on like a 10 foot wide road (it's private so no traffic) and goes right into these bushes. those bushes fucked my friends car up, it's funny
